Today, the blue-bordered white sarees of the nuns have become a symbol of humanity and caring.In 1979, Mother Teresa was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her humanitarian work. She died in September 1997 and was beatified in October 2003. She was canonised a saint by the Roman Catholic Church in 2016. This is her amazing story.
